How is the playa? Sorry for the lack of updates here. I added the twitter updates to the top of this page for the short and cute stuff that isn't worth firing up the browser for. Please be assured that even though I haven't updated this every day, I still miss you bunches

I met with Holly and the future Mr. Holly on Tuesday night to sort out wedding stuff. They have no song! They've never watched Rich Bride, Poor Bride! Madness!

I have yet to get up in time to catch the apple shuttle via the J church. Bring home the M Church! I'v bee dutifuly trying to keep the TiVO clean and have been eating a lot of bachelor chow as is my right as an American whose wife is limping around the desert for a week and a half.

Speaking of patriotism, I'm watching Obama's big speech via the Internets 'cos I'm still at work, catching up on a bunch of small things that have been on my to do list forever. O! Bam! A! Yes we can! w00t!

And now the moment you have been waiting for: Photographic Evidence:

    The Latest And Greatest:

    Heya Cabbage,

Hope you are having a blast on the playa!

    Today:
-Drove down to Cupertino to get my other phone charger and pick up mystack of CDs and DVDs for Amoeba
-Tried to meet up with Mr. Holly, but I wrote his adress down wrong. We'll get together Tuesday night instead
-Amoeba! Traffic wasn't bad at all- I feared the Outside Lands festival was gonna mess up my mojo. Things were actually ok, found a space in our old hood and walked uo to the haight. FIleld up on Escape From NY Pizza first to give me some sustinance
I'll upload pics tomorrow of the meal, the haul and the rescipt.
-Grocery Shopping at Market St. Safeway. Lotsa bachelor chow, pics also coming tomorrow. Many burners there, emptying the shelves of water and eclectrolytes and trail mix.
-A little bit of work, just for fun. :-)

I would be very surprised if I took the shuttle tomorrow. But stranger thing s have happened.

Mad Man was *off the hook* The TiBro summary:
-Don Draper and the commedian's manager/wife got in a drunk driving accident. Peggy bailed him out, took care of the commedian's wife and learned from her how to be a ballsy business woman.
-We learn through flashbacks that Don Draper visited Peggy in the hospital and told her to do whatever the doctor's said in order to get on with her life.
-Joan is engaged, but I strongly suspect she bought the ring for herself after her real age was exposed.
-At the end of the episode, Peggy made Don pay her back and addressed him using first name for the first time.

    Stay hydrated!

    Hello Cabbage
I see on Twitter that people actually have connectivity on the playa this year so there actually is a chance that you may read this before you come home. How exciting for you.

I didn't do jack today after you left. Watched a lot of History Detectives while goofin' around on the internet. I have to do my Amoeba shopping spree before Holly's wedding, but I am worried that the Outside Lands festival is goign to make parking over there impossible. Hmmmmmmm. Still thinking about how to handle that -- maybe I'll go some night after work instead.

Anyway, hope u r staying hydrated. I'm going to shuffle off to bed soon. Take care and tell everyone I say howdy.

    xxxoo,

    RR
